The Latvian Transatlantic Organisation (LATO) and the German Marshall Fund of the United States (GMF) cordially invite you to the Launch of the Rīga Conference Papers – Post Crisis: Europe and the World in 2025. Four Foreign Policy Scenarios on Thursday, 5 September, at 12:00 – 14:00.
Presentation will take place in The Latvian War Museum (Smilšu St. 20, Riga).
Keynote Remarks by
Edgars Rinkēvičs, Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Republic of Latvia
Thomas Kleine-Brockhoff, Former Senior Fellow, the German Marshall Fund of the United States
Žaneta Ozoliņa, Professor and Chair of the Department of Political Science, the University of Latvia.
The event will feature a discussion about the significance of the publication and the work of the Riga Process—a GMF-LATO initiative which brings together foreign policy experts from Europe and the United States for interactive workshops to examine the potential consequences for Europe as a foreign policy actor emanating from the altered strategic landscape that will inevitably result from the Eurozone crisis. Post Crisis: Europe and the World in 2025 summarises the results and conclusion of the previous two Riga Process Workshops based on four scenarios of the progression of the Eurozone crisis: full integration, partial integration, partial disintegration and complete disintegration.
The event will be conducted in English.
