On May 8, in Riga for the first time a high-level reputation management conference “The Values of Reputation Economy” will take place as part of an international conference series “Reputation War”. It will feature more than 15 internationally known experts, including global communications agency Ketchum Global Partner and Director Rod Cartwright, Chairman of the World Communication Forum in Davos Gianni Catalfamo, Senior executive manager at international division at aktua financial solutions Nils Melngailis, a former Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility at Statoil ASA Baiba Rubesa, GQ magazine’s former editor of Russia and now “Snob” media project director Nikolai Uskov and others.
The European conference on the challenges of reputation for the first time organised in the Baltic and Nordic countries will be a journey through the importance of reputation management at the digital age. This international event born in Paris in 2013 will be a unique opportunity to get a deeper look at the mechanisms of reputation building, also considering very special Baltic cultural environment.
The conference will gather leading international speakers from Europe and over 250 participants, all professionals in reputation management – business leaders, in-house marketing and communications professionals, consultants, analysts, journalists, bloggers, influencers and policy makers coming together in the capital city of the Baltic Sea region Riga, which holds the European Union 2015 Presidency.
In France “Reputation War” author and organizer Christophe Ginisty is widely recognized as a communication professional, a former International Public Relations Association (IPRA) president: “Reputation War is already one of the biggest events in Europe about the significance of reputation management for governments, corporations, brands and individuals. The conference organiser and Head of the Nordic Reputation Institute is Dagnija Lejiņa, who has been leading the Latvian Public Relations Professionals Association (LASAP) and currently is a partner in the reputation management company “Lejiņa and Šleiers”: “Research shows that companies with a good business reputation earns more – that is why we use the term “Reputation Economy”. Competition for the attention is fierce and countries, brands and personalities all are fighting in the battle of shaping the perception of the reality. The conference is organized by Nordic Reputation Institute – a non-governmental organization established with the aim of creating a platform for discussion on the importance of reputation and research.
